One of the very first artists to commit to the production, was Anna Silvey.
This put her in the unique position of being able to choose which illustration she worked on for the film.
Her choice perfectly suited her own artistic abilities:
Sequence 11 - Distaste
Her vast experience proved to be an invaluable asset. Needing very little direction, she worked from her studio in Los Angeles.
The evocative painting she created utterly encapsulated the required shot of a distorted modern work of art.
The 2K digital version had animations added to the art to bring it in line with the sequence in which it features.
Anna Silvey's original painting is on on display in the offices of Barbed Wire FX.
